At the Inclusive Divyangjan Entrepreneur Association (IDEA), we are staunch believers in the transformative power of entrepreneurship. We encourage the Divyangjan (Persons with Disabilities) community to explore entrepreneurship and self-employment as viable alternatives for meaningful and sustainable livelihoods. Entrepreneurship not only provides a preferred career choice for PwDs but also addresses challenges related to mobility and literacy. Recognizing the hyper-localized nature of entrepreneurship opportunities, individuals of all education levels can pursue this path.
To promote entrepreneurship among the majority of PwDs, IDEA has established the Divyangjan Incubation Centre (DIC) in the National Capital, Dwarka, Delhi. DIC is the hub for our flagship program, the Entrepreneurship Development Program (EDP), a comprehensive 300-hour qualification pack designed to provide entrepreneurship training to PwDs over a period of 9 months.
INCUBATION PERIOD PHASES
The Entrepreneurship Development Program at the Divyangjan Incubation Centre aims to equip PwDs with the necessary skills, knowledge, and support to embark on successful entrepreneurial journeys. By fostering entrepreneurship within the PwD community, IDEA aims to empower individuals to create sustainable livelihoods and contribute to the economic growth and overall well-being of the nation.
